We are starting to get a bit busier now as the events have all opened up. Our main event in April has been Burnham Market international.

We had a solid start at Burnham Market with all 4 horses producing good tests but all 4 have plenty more to come.

In the CCI3*S
“Feloupe” after a stunning test we were all a little disappointed with a score of 30.1 but couldn’t be more delighted with her.
“Fanta Boy” still very new to me after only 6 weeks we were really pleased a 31.9 a few mistakes and plenty to work on!

In the CCI4*S
“Uppercourt Cooley” our first 4* together was stunning, he’s giving more and more, one late change was sadly a costly but still in a competitive place on 33.8
“Halltown Harley” tried his little heart out and definitely feeling better with age to score 34.8
Tomorrow is SJ and XC for all 4 horses!!

Huge thanks to Sara Bech Eventing and Anya Thursby for turning the horses out beautifully!!
A great end to a busy week at Burnham Market. As per usual Anya Thursby and Sara Bech Eventing turned the horses out beautifully and Sara even jumped a fantastic clear in the 3*S on her mare Dicte.
CCI3*S

Feloupe was class in the jumping phases. A rare pole as we were both a bit lazy cutting a corner to an oxer but a super clear XC with 1.2 time to finish 11th, the pole cost her 4th but we’ll have learnt more from having it that even the most careful need to be straight, but she is showing all the qualities to be able to win!

Then Nicky Cooper and Lucy Fleming Fanta Boy jumped his heart out, after only 6 weeks together it was an ambitious task but I couldn’t have been more pleased with him. An easy double clear with all the straight routes, 1.6 time faults still kept him in the top 10 in 8th place.

CCI4*S
Molly Fisher, Sam Wilson, Lucy Fleming and Nicky Coopers “Uppercourt Cooley” stepped back upto 4* in style, one lowered pole as he was a bit keen but a fab clear XC to finish 18th, a few green moments but super genuine and straight making him an exciting prospect for 4*s and Nations Cups this season.

Ansd last but not least my absolute wonder horse.
Suzy Doggett’s “Halltown Harley” back to his best with a double clear easily inside a tight time to finish 7th!
What a week, thank you to all owners, sponsors and support team at home! Loving the photos from Tim Wilkinson !!

No pole touching!!
Susy Watts JOHNNIE WALKER DHI jumps a lovely double clear in the Novuce at Aston for 5th place!

Headleys Cosmic Twist was on flying form and jumped a lovely double clear into 9th place at Larkhillhorsetrials Novice! JohnniewalkerDHI - also on great form with 25 double clear at Larkhill for 2nd in the BE100open!
