Homme House

A busy day with some of the younger horses.

Sligo Just Touch, Wozniak and Ozone all doing their first BE100/5YO class.  Crunchie jumped a lovely double clear but I forgot what a long galloping stride he had and we picked up some too fast time penalties that knocked us out of the placings.  Ozzie had some flashy moments and some wobbly moments and an unfortunate green stop on the way into the water. Oz also produced a good test for a young horse.  Jumping clear he finished just outside of the placings.

Aston-Le-Walls

Back to Aston and another exciting day for the Future Partnership as Posy was incredible from start to finish and completed her second Intermediate on her 31.1 dressage test to finish 4th!  She really is an incredibly exciting mare for the future.

West Wilts

Another busy day at West Wilts with some of the younger horses.  Johnnie Walker added just 4 time faults to his 25 dressage to finish in 5th in a competitive Novice section.

Ozzie and Crunchie were both in the 5YO qualifier with Ozzie jumping double clear to finish on his 27 dressage to take 7th.  Crunchie also produced a good test and jumped well but rolled an unfortunate pole to finish just outside of the placings.

Oz was a little cheeky in his BE100 dressage but redeemed himself with a double clear to finish 7th.

Somerford International

Headleys Cosmic Twist was yet again the superstar of the yard finishing a very close 2nd in the Intermediate at Somerford.  She so deserved the win but was just pipped at the post.  3 Intermediate runs and 3 top 5 placings.

Feloupe and Halltown Harley also joined us at Somerford for a spin around the Intermediate before their big Autumn events and they were VERY excited to be back out!  Both a little too excited but both flew round the cross-country for easy clears.

Wellington International

The showjumping made for a very educational trip for the young horses.  Not only have they not really seen people at events before, they’ve definitely never seen bouncy castles that close to the arena before.

Posy stepped up to her first CCI3*S like a complete pro and jumped a fast cross-country clear to finish 13th in a really competitive section.

Bueno came home the star of the show with a stunning OI dressage and an easy double clear to finish 3rd!!
