Well we have had a busy start to the season already. I was lucky enough to be able to compete in the Elite Events in March, kicking off with Aston Training Event.

I took, Halltown Harley, Uppercourt Cooley and Feloupe. All 3 horses produced good but bright tests and jumped lovely jumping rounds, as it only classed as a training event not a competition there was no placings, but it was a great outing for the horses.

Next was the same 3 horses at Oasby, we were up early and it was certainly a bit chilly but the ground was nearly perfect, Feloupe schooled a great 27.7 dressage, one pole rolled at the first fence but a super clear XC left her in 3rd place. Uppercourt Cooley added a couple of unnecessary extras to his dressage but jumped a super double clear for 4th and last but not least Barbie - Halltown Harley, still far to fresh and cheeky in his test but of course a double clear finishing in 7th place, all round a great day, huge thanks to Anya for keeping everything moving as without owners allowed, there were no extra hands to help hold!!

And the last of the Elite events was Aston, where Uppercourt Cooley was in the advanced, a few small errors but still scoring 30, just touched the penultimate fence but a super clear XC just running him slowly as it was quite wet. And Halltown Harley just in the OI, a much improved dressage even though he was watching the XC next door, and a clear XC, we decided not to run him XC andsave him for his next run at Burnham Market!!!

Definitely feel like we are now back in full swing!!!
