Well what a fab start to 2018.

BS at West Wilts. HALLTOWN HARLEY wins both his classes by nearly 10 seconds….. I think he remembers the indoor XC in Sweden! WII LIMBO jumped a lovely double clear for 2nd. COOLEY LEGALAND and TOP HONOURS were both fresh and happy to be out jumping double clear for 3rd in their classes!! Thank you to Connie and Lydia for having them all ready in time!

We were back at West wilts the following week and another good day this time with the younger horses doing the Eventer’s Show Jumping.
“The Future Partnerships” FREDDIE won the BE90 and Sam Wilson’s JAFFA won the BE100. POLLY and SOLO also jumped lovely double clears for top 3 placings.

Back for some BS – And another DOUBLE WINNER for Suzanne Doggett’s HALLTOWN HARLEY! I am so lucky to have some super stars for this year!! A great day Show Jumping at Summerhouse. 2nd in 1m and Discovery. 3rd and 4th in 1.05 and 2nd in the newcomers. And of course Harley wins the 1.15m and the Foxhunter!! I’m very lucky to have a great team of owners that support me and the horses! And a huge thank you to Connie for standing in the rain all day and to Lydia and mum for keeping things running at home!!

We had another trip to Summerhouse and a fantastic day with 3 wins!! I love my boys!! CALVIN wins the 1.05m and the Newcombers and HALLTOWN HARLEY wins the Foxhunter!! Superstar boys!

Then it was to start the XC schooling. It has been a bit of a crazy week!!
They are all feeling extremely fresh and ready for their first run at either Aston with the younger horses or at Tweseldown with the ON and OI horses. They are all feeling fantastic, I am delighted with how much the younger horses, SAN SOLO, TOP HONOURS and HOMERUS have grown up over the winter and have come feeling on top form this year, their aims for this season are to establish at Novice and some plans if 1*s and intermediates would be fantastic!!

CALVIN and COOLEY LEGALAND are also feeling greta, they were so happy to see XC fences again and I am very excited about this season with them as I hope that they will move up to 2* level.
