Barbury Horse Trails
It was rather hot 
for Eventing on Friday at Barbury!
for Eventing on Friday at Barbury!KOJAK, owned by Lucy Fleming, Molly Fisher and Sam Wilson, was the star of the day leading his first IN after the showjumping, with a stunning 26.4 and clear round.
Lucy Fleming and Molly Fisher’s SLIGO JUST TOUCH & WOZNIAK were both in the Novice both doing good tests and jumping well.
Putting the horse’s welfare first I decided to WD before cross-country, which is always difficult when you’re leading or well placed. The ground was quite firm and the weather very hot and with them all being younger horses I decided to save them for another day.
It was lovely to have some of my wonderful owners with us and thanks to Hannah Cole for the super photos of handsome Kojak.

) trip to UBS Upton House Horse Trials last week where they worked wonders with the ground!A stunning 24.1 dressage from Lucy Fleming, Molly Fisher and Sam Wilson’s KOJAK, combined with a double clear saw him finish 7th in his first Intermediate, even with a steady XC round.
The Future Partnership’s HEADLEYS COSMIC TWIST also jumped a super double clear before she tackles her first 4* in a few weeks.
I was very grateful of my Stierna Equestrian Sportswear competition shirts and breeches, helping me stay as cool as possible when riding in the heat.
